| The Cleveland Plain Dealer laid off a third of its staff yesterday, mostly veteran reporters and photographers, leaving inexperienced kids to man the paper. This is happening all across the country, so expect more garbage reporting like this, Fred. The NY Times had another "buyout" of veteran staffers late last year, so we have kids with no experience guarding the gates of once-great papers like the Times. Sad. |
