| Great post. Some very interesting history among those storms. The San Ciriaco hurricane had the highest accumulated cyclone energy (ACE) for a storm in the Atlantic. There were only four storms the year Alicia made landfall. I didn't know much about the Great Beaufort Hurricane. And then of course there is Camille. A look at the four:  |
