And again, I did get the NHC to admit it might be a tie. We just have to wait for the final report. At best, it will officially be a tie. However, Gustav became a 70 knot hurricane at the same time Humberto became a 65 knot hurricane. An argument could be made that Gustav cross the 64 knot threshold first. But all it will ever be officially, at best, is a tie. |
