I'm only speculating at this point now, but it seems rather odd now that the pineapple express has returned to California bringing the state much needed rain that they are beginning to see tremors and Earthquakes.

I remember reading about icequakes  during the winter months and thought that this might be similar in nature.  

Any thoughts?
