I didn't know they were that low. I know Jim talks about how low areas are down there.

I live twice as high as that and I consider myself to be very low. A weak tropical storm can give us four feet of surge. I can't imagine why anyone would want to move somewhere that low. I keep putting off possibly selling my house, but it is nice to know there are still plenty of people who would want to buy it. That is what I keep telling my dad, even a decade from now, there will still probably be people who want to buy on low land. I guess if they have the money to keep rebuilding, have at it. Although eventually the water is simply going to be there. Then I guess you would need to either build really high, including private roadways because why should everyone else keep paying, or buy a boat to get to your house.

But seriously, already down there it's like you would have to pay attention to the calendar. It's that time of month, you can't get to or out of your house because of the moon. What about the super moon, lol? People look at the daily tides for fishing, not for whether you will be able to get to work today.
