TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL ISSUED BY THE NWS WEATHER PREDICTION CENTER COLLEGE PARK MD 200 PM EDT TUE OCT 7 2014
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
1. An area of low pressure has developed over the extreme southwestern Caribbean Sea and is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. The low is expected to drift westward near or over Central America during the next few days, and development is likely to be limited by its proximity to land. Regardless of development, heavy rains are possible over portions of Central America during the next few days. *Formation change through 48 hours...low...10 percent. *Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
