That image is insane. I wonder if that was by chance or if there is a large scale impact on the actual landmass of the islands. There are small impacts on storms perhaps due to the islands, but that seems to be more bobbles when near them, not fat away. Whatever it is, they have been mostly very lucky for the past few years.
