The intensity is held at 30 kt pending new observations from a NOAA Hurricane Hunter aircraft in a few hours. they can't forecast without recon & pretty soon recon will be automated & satellites will render forecasters obsolete - they are un-forecasting themselves out of a job...    lengthy WU blog from Masters/Henson |
