So what was the speed at landfall, was it a Cat 2?  Those that increase so close to shore are so dangerous as people think 'it won't be that bad' and then get caught in it too late to evacuate.

Also, what was the storm surge?

Damage reports?  Maybe someone could start a thread for just damage pictures and links.
