It seems that a lot of the systems that develop this quickly after leaving Africa end up going out to sea. Karl looks poised to do the same, as a strong ridge is forecast at first to shove it WSW or even SW but then Karl is forecast to go fishing. I'm wondering southward jog in its near-term track may make it a problem for Bermuda in the long term.
