Recon later this afternoon should clear up where the center might be and how well defined it is. Departs at 11am EDT from St. Croix and should arrive by around 2pm.

I don't think there is any satellite derived wind data recent: http://manati.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/datasets/ASCATData.php So it's up to the plane or waiting until a satellite pass hits it which doesn't happen especially often. |
