It's amazing it is just below category five strength and while it does look impressive on satellite, it's still hard to believe it's already almost a category five. It doesn't quite have the ring all around it with the coldest cloud tops, but in the last frame it did get much closer. I am still shocked this got together so fast and much of the day the satellite presentation has not always been that impressive. (though radar and microwave imagery did indicate a better looking core than what appeared on regular satellite imagery) |
