Looking at satellite as well as the radar links you just posted in the 5pm thread, it looks as if Matthews come to a temporarily halt as the high terrain of Eastern Cuba might be slowing down the center. We see this effect sometimes where it appears the center gets stuck over tall mountains. Happens a lot with storms in Hispanola. |
