Look at Jim's home page.  I don't think she's being extreme at all.  It takes time and planning to get people out of harm's way.  My friends in Beaufort, SC and Hilton Head are both on their way to Asheville and Atlanta, respectively.  Trying to beat the traffic.  Previous SC governors have not been as proactive and it was a nightmare.
