Not sure I would say similar trajectory. Floyd was a lot further north than Irma is. It went north of all the Bahamas. Not saying Irma is going to hit Florida, but it's a bit different storm. It will go south of the Bahamas and get very close to Cuba. Plus Floyd made a more gradual turn. This thing is supposed to make a more sharp and abrupt turn. The question is when and where is that going to be? The similarities do lie, though, with a HP coming in to steer it more west only to be picked up by an incoming trough.
