I'm starting to come around to the fact that this thing is going to follow the track that the GFS set out tonight. Not letting my guard down in Tampa and not ruling out the possibility of a dramatic shift in track, but I do think this thing is going to go where these models tonight are saying it's going to go. Models today are much better than they were 10 years ago. It's been pretty consistent run to run with some small deviations east to west. But I think they have a pretty good handle on this right now and feel like they have the timing of the incoming trough down pat. I think there's about a 50% chance right now, maybe slightly more, that this thing will miss the Florida East Coast....not by much, but just narrowly. |
