I'm so done with the models. I've followed the steering currents and that has been the "likely" path that Irma has been taking. I used it when I tracked Matthew last year. It'll be interesting to see what the next 3 hr currents look like. The currents are updated every 3 hours. I look at two things with the steering current and which model to watch:
1. Pressure of the TC I am watching 2. Wind speed of the TC I am watching

On another note...

All those reds and oranges are wind shear, and here is another map to look at.

Those red colors are unfavorable for TC.
Not telling anyone to be off their guard, never be off guard and always listen to the NWS and advisories from NHC. I am just posting the probability of what "could" happen to Irma.
