My issue is people understanding it what that means. I have a unique experience with this because 8 years ago my daughter sis hee 8th grade science fair project on Intergrated Kentic Energy and it's impact on storm surge predictions. Even with a meteorologist on the panel they said they could not judge it ecause they did not know what the heck it was.
Get to complicated and people glaze over. We get out all the relevant details via meteorologist and the NYC who do understand. They know how to parse how a storm size and impact on things other than just wind speed into words normal people understand. They told Houstonians they were going to get 20 inches of rain and flooding days before it happened. People can sometimes put blinders on.
Sorry for misspellings no power or WIFI and my big fingers do not like phone keyboards. Also study up on IKE, it is really interesting stuff. |
