I can't remember if I mentioned this or not, but NOAA P-3 radar data at HurricaneCity won't be available. The lower fuselage radar was the data my recon system did show, while the tail doppler radar is something it never displayed. In the spring of 2018 the lower fuselage radar was upgraded. Until their new system is fully operational and the data is made available in a format my recon system can process, it will not be available.

Of course the tail doppler radar feeds data into some of the models, it's just that publicly viewing the data from the lower fuselage radar isn't possible in my recon system right now. I talked to some of the people who are working on the new lower fuselage radar system and there is a chance it might be available again later in the season. But if they make any changes to the system, I'll have to make changes on my end to adapt.

I'll post when it does become available again, but in the meantime in case it does happen to become available in the exact same way again, the system is still running in the recon system for the lower fuselage radar on the NOAA P-3:
