out really early, they have a lot on their plates with Florence, Gorden, Norman, Olivia + a Disturbance in both Atlantic & EastPac - these government employees are really laboring on Labor Day !

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Florence, located over the eastern Atlantic Ocean and
on Tropical Storm Gordon, located just off the coast of
southwestern Florida.
A tropical wave located a few hundred miles southeast of the Cabo
Verde Islands continues to produce a large area of disorganized
showers and thunderstorms. Gradual development of this system is
expected, and it could become a tropical depression late this week
or this weekend while it moves westward to west-northwestward across
the eastern tropical Atlantic.
Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.
Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent.
