First the disclaimer: I'm just geeking out here. Florence is about 6 days away so we still have some time to pull our hair out. (Please follow your official local advisories)
That said, the Euro is shifting to the south. This morning's Euro model has Florence landing in the Carolinas.
The GFS model loops just off the East Coast but at very low pressure. 932 millibars makes Florence a huge scary fish.
The Canadian model lands in North Carolina, weakens and stalls, then starts to slide down the coastline.
The UK model lands in South Carolina.
The Navy model looks like a major landing in North Carolina.
The combined waves and surge could be over 15 feet even if Florence does the intensifying GFS fish loop thing.
