The NHC image no longer shows a major hurricane at landfall, just a hurricane.

The GFS model shows 947mb near landing around Wilmington NC with a windfield stretching almost a wide as from Bald Head to Cape Lookout. So the GFS is showing a weaker hurricane than yesterday.





The GFS model also suggests 2 feet of rain this weekend near th NC coastline.



The HWRF model shows a 955mb landing near Kure Beach NC with a windfield stretching from Bald Head to Cape Lookout.



The HMON model shows 947mb near landing around Wilmington NC with a windfield stretching from Bald Head to Cape Lookout.



The Euro model sweeps down from 952mb off the NC coastline on Friday to 980mb on the SC coastline on Sunday.





The Canadian model shows 980mb between Bald Head to Cape Lookout.



The Navy model has a wider windfield from Hatteras to the SC border landing around 981mb near Kure Beach NC.
