They have "Corrected maximum sustained winds and to update observations". Was it never back up to 105mph at 6pm EDT? Not sure.
While the satellite presentation improved some, the estimated surface winds from recon had not been higher, so I was curious why they had went to 105mph.

A NOAA observing site at Cape Lookout, North Carolina, recently reported a sustained wind of 82 mph (131 km/h) and a gust to 97 mph (156 km/h). A private weather station in Davis, North Carolina, recently reported a sustained wind of 59 mph (95 km/h). A Weatherflow station at Fort Macon, North Carolina, recently reported a sustained wind of 61 mph (98 km/h) and a wind gust of 81 mph (130 km/h).
Water levels continue to rise quickly on the western side of Pamlico Sound. A gauge at Oriental, North Carolina, on the Neuse River is recording a water height of about 5.5 feet above normal levels.
