An interesting read about the entire trip. I don't know how people don't take a near category 5 storm seriously though. I could see maybe for a category 1 or 2 a little bit inland some people might not be too concerned, but still serving continental breakfast for an incoming near category 5? I don't know what it will take for people to start taking these storms more seriously and this was one of the ones that I would have thought everyone would have been paying attention to. Often it's weaker ones that people underestimate.

Your truck is a tank. I didn't realize how strong that glass was. I did notice that it was very sound proof during the live stream. The winds were extreme but we could hear you just fine. That's how I could tell even then that you were fairly safe. Not something that could be done in ordinary vehicles.
