Hi Cypress-- YES it was cold-- but that meant that our skies were clear of storms and we could see the eclipse very well!! AWESOME!!

I would step outside and take a look and take a picture-- and step back inside to warm up!

A strange thing occurred-- during the near total coverage time-- I felt moisture drops on my face. WHAT-- it's 18 degrees-- what's this?? And in the morning-- I could see ice glistening on the tippy top of the100 foot trees which surround our home. SO-- I didn't imagine it-- thinking it was some type of freezing mist or something. Nothing appeared on the deck-- only in the tree tops???

Made an awesome experience-- even more wonderful.....

And the experience of going from very bright WOLF moon to near darkness-- I can see this would be very disturbing to ancient peoples-- and they couldn't get on Facebook to find out what it was!! LOL
