High winds occurred in Hawaii over the weekend

There was gust to 191mph on the summit of Mauna Kea, though it's possible it might not be correct. You can see some of the information about the snow and cold temperatures at high elevations and other impacts in the links below. They had tropical storm force winds at low elevations and there were high waves along some of the coasts.

Some of the stories also discuss a U.S. rainfall record set in Hawaii last year that has been determined to be valid. From 1st link:
"Its official: Hawaii now holds the U.S. 24-hour rainfall record
One record we know is solid (as well as liquid!) is the 49.69 of rain that fell in the 24 hours from 12:45 pm HST April 14 to April 15, 2018, at Waip Garden on Kauai."
