| Since the social media explosion in the late 2000s donations at HC have dwindled. Many of you probably already know how I make my living which takes up a good majority of my time. During the height of the season I find myself running around like a chicken with my head cut off (should have used that costume instead) sacrificing my business to update and produce multimedia. Meanwhile donations continue to decrease to the point where it is practically unsustainable. I have decided to suspend all live shows,my city predictions,tropical update videos and the front page with commentary countdown clock & featured city. I put over 20 years of work into this along with Chris excellent coding to make things easier but the reaction (or lack thereof) speaks volumes leaves me wondering if people even used this stuff? Anyway I'm heart broken. This may allow me more time to converse in here which when things get active I did not post in here much. Unlike social media at least here we have a conversation. Unless a miracle happens I do not see reviving any of these things and for those who may not have seen past events go to show archives page in the drop down menu at HC,you can still track with best performing models using drop down menu "hurricane tracking" and of course Chris tropicalatlantic.com has all the info you need,i'll see you around.. |
