I'm interested to see if it develops tropical cyclones in the extended range as often as it has in the past. It has often shown development in the extended range that doesn't happen. There will always be that to some extent, but it has been bad at that in the past.

I'm guessing the Northeast isn't going to like the cold bias. Snow amounts were already really hard to forecast. Sounds like the new GFS is prone to overdo the snowfall amounts which will make forecasts even more tricky.
