I'm not sure how Cuba did, but the impacts in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands don't seem to be very much so far. You can't trust social media as some of the things being shown are fake, but in the videos and pictures that seem genuine, it seems there is relatively minor damage. I would assume things are built well for hurricanes, but I wasn't sure about an earthquake. Maybe skyscrapers are the ones that need more significant engineering to withstand most earthquakes. Maybe smaller, well built structures, do pretty good. I don't know what the shaking itself was like. I've only seen videos in the moments after and some of the minor damage.
