I've been concerned about them, and the NHC employees, having to work so close together. Hurricane hunters will probably operate normally when it comes to the number of missions, but I won't be complaining if there is less recon this season. Only go out if they really need to. Maybe skip some of the low level invest missions.

When you had posted previously about Lixion Avila retiring, I was sad to hear that, in part because it means less staff at the NHC. I don't know how much they could do from home if they had to.
