The good news is that marines, compared to the general population, have a great number of tools that are needed to ride out dangerous storms in a relatively safe manner. Stay safe everyone.
Am I incorrect to suspect that the models are under estimating the influence the trough over the western Gulf is having on Marco's movement to the north ? Also, how likely is it that Laura will make landfall at any point to the west of where Marco comes ashore ? It seems to me that Marco would more or less create a trough of low pressure that would result in Laura making landfall at some point to the east of Marco's landfall ? |
