The Three-Mile Bridge over Pensacola Bay was closed not due to winds but rather to the fact that a barge belonging to the contractor on the new span (Skansa) broke loose and lodged under the bridge. The FDOT will evaluate for damage. Meanwhile the bridge is closed for the duration of the Sally event and all related storms.
