For anyone who wants to submit their name to be sent on the next Mars mission, launching in 2026 perhaps, you can do that here:

This was from the FAQ for the previous one that is about to reach Mars.

"What does submitting my name do?
All submitted names are reviewed, approved and then etched onto a microchip. The microchip is placed aboard the Mars 2020 rover, which will land on Mars. If you are sending your name on a future mission to Mars, your flight has not been identified yet."



I added my name a few years ago for the mission about to arrive and have also added my name for the next one too. Kinda cool to do.
