It really is the absolute worst time for this. But people can at least get advisory data through other sources and the NHC's social media.

I added messages about data not being available on my site and at HurricaneCity.

O/T:

I really hope they don't mess with the https on their site after this too. My site can barely access their site as it is because the server my site runs on is so old. For the past few years, some of the data I have to download by getting it through HurricaneCity's site. If a secure site upgrades the way you have to connect to it, older servers can be prevented from accessing it due to having an outdated way of connecting securely.
