The eyewall has some extreme winds higher up. A momentary wind of 185mph at the 902mb level as measured by sonde. That is between the 925mb and 850mb below:

948mb (28.00 inHg)
Surface (Sea Level)
98 knots (113 mph)

925mb
219m (719 ft)
148 knots (170 mph)

850mb
961m (3,153 ft)
143 knots (165 mph)

Again, not at the surface.
