For the western peninsula of Florida, maybe we have less early fronts that can hook storms into us. Not sure. But I guess more storms turn northward earlier rather than towards Texas. I don't know about the strength of the storms, but stronger storms generally turn toward north more, so maybe a warmer Gulf? With the Atlantic seeming to be warmer at higher latitudes than previously, at least recently, not sure about since 1990, storms might get stronger and start curving sooner, before Bahamas. Don't know. But more northern areas in the U.S. better start having flood coverage if at the coast and wind coverage nearby if they don't already.
