I agree, but sadly it's hard to prevent what happened to him. It's hard to remember to always see if someone could run a red light. If you're just getting going at a light I try to remember, but usually only if I'm first and I forget sometimes. If someone else blows through a light while you're just going along, hard to really prevent that. I don't look while driving at normal speed to see if someone just happens to be ignoring a light. Unless I just happened to accidentally see it.
But I do wish him luck in the trip. Glad he has the remote cameras to stay out of the surge zone as it will be very life threatening where it does make landfall. No need for a human to be there for that. |
