Re: perhaps a meteogram can help convince them ?

I thought the one positive with back to back storms was people would take it seriously. I think for the vast majority of people here, they are. Perhaps even before Helene a storm like this people would take seriously, but I think Helene greatly reinforced it. It wasn't happening to others on your TV, you drive by the debris piles at most houses in some areas. I think the death toll will be much less because Helene just happened and many more people will evacuate.

We're still deciding on either going to near a shelter nearby out of the surge zone or maybe just head east to maybe a parking garage in Disney Springs. Kind of keeping an eye on traffic too which is a mess. We'll finish prepping tomorrow and then pick our destination. I told Jim that some of my family might email him if I manage to find a way to call them after the storm but can't email. (I have no cell phone)

Off to bed.

In our testing, you can't post an Instagram and Threads post in the same message. One of the site's embeds will not load.

Due to how Bluesky content must be embedded to do it automatically, technical errors may sometimes make it impossible to automatically embed it for you. If you have any issues, turn that option off and embed the content manually if you wish to do so.
