I didn't realize they were so impacted.

"NCEI archives over 229 terabytes of data each month, maintaining one of the most significant archives in the world, with comprehensive oceanic, atmospheric and geophysical data dating back to the 1700s."

I haven't thought about all the data they collect. Satellite imagery every 5 to 10 minutes, with all the different bands for example, and other satellite products other than GOES East and West too. Just some of the massive amounts of data they have to store.

Due to how Bluesky content must be embedded to do it automatically, technical errors may sometimes make it impossible to automatically embed it for you. If you have any issues, turn that option off and embed the content manually if you wish to do so.
