Re: remember when the months after hurricane season was over were mostly non-eventful ?

I'm finally enjoying the warmth here. The warmest temperature we got to in January before today was 73F. Today it has hit 79F. Average is around 71 or 72F. January 13th it was 73F. The next time we hit 70s was 73F on January 26th. I see you'll be in the 70's and perhaps even 80F within the week.

We also got a few inches of rain in the second half of the month. Our first significant rain since the hurricane.

The climate is all over the place unfortunately. It gets worse and our policies toward it get worse. It does seem like there is no break for at least somewhere in the country at any given time. I know nice weather doesn't really make the news exactly, but I keep seeing all the bad weather impacts. At some point we'll get more into the tornado season and then it will be hurricane season again. Although some of the natural disasters occur at any point really. Fires were an example of that this year.
