Time flies. There was a time in January I was complaining about winter and now it's going to be mid 90's with a heat index over 100 in a few days so it's time to complain about summer. I guess we had some nice weather for a bit, but then it was too dry. I guess I always have something to complain about, lol.
But when it gets hot, I guess that means it's time for another season.
It's always interesting to see your picks and to see how much work goes into it.
I dreaded last season at the start but this year I'm more just surprised it's already that time of year again. I'll be prepared for ones that come my way. A lot of people around me didn't do so well, so they'll be hoping for a quieter season even more than me.
There's some people in my neighborhood and the ones around me that haven't even started to fix things yet. There's also a lot of activity of people getting things fixed, but I think insurance issues and the rule where you have to rebuild basically if it will cost more than 50% of the value to fix it has delayed people.
I guess I'm never looking forward to the seasons at this point, but they are what they are. All you can do is be prepared when one comes your way. |
