CaneTalk has the following rules about posting messages:

• Canetalk is to be used for discussion of weather related subjects only. Politics, religion, sports or personal relationships are not to be discussed on this board. Admins do have the right to express points on the above if the rules are broken.
• Foul language is prohibited as well as any character attacks. While we discourage criticism of corporations and/or government agencies we understand the rights of free speech, so we ask that you keep it relevant to weather.
• This board is not to be used for promotional purposes. We allow posting of links relevant to weather but not for off topic websites or videos.
• While arguments will happen, hurricanes put lives at stake and accurate information is recommended. We ask that you respectfully disagree or agree while presenting your facts. Remember far more people read messages at CaneTalk than post at it and will pass this information along.
• The rules above if broken by a user of CaneTalk will result in a suspension for an unspecified period of time. After the first ban a repeat violation will result in a permanent ban from CaneTalk.
