OK--I couldnt find the zones either.
But we are in flood zone for properties in FL. And we are insured--cause the mortgage co says so.
And even when there isn't a mortgage-- we have it. (and yes we belong to "the club" --from Georges!! We negiotiated to reduce our benefit so wouldn't have to totally replace.)
Go figure-- in NC we have a creek running about 20 feet from the house-- flood relief creek. And no we don't have insurance-- cause not in flood area. Even previous owners tell us--during Fran-- which was supposedly the worst--it didn't flood.
