I'm in Zone X here in Miami but you'd better believe I have flood insurance! My neighborhood used to flood with heavy rain but is much better after the county worked on the drainage system. Still, I'd rather be safe than sorry; the cost of flood insurance is low compared to the regular homeowner's.
