Just out of curiosity ...

How do ice levels compare now with say, any other time in the last 4,000,000,000 years?

I mean, I'm totally sold that 30 years worth of data has nailed down ice levels to a tee.  When you put 30 beside 4,000,000,000, can there be any question where the solid answer lies on what current ice levels mean?

30 years equals 0.00000000075% of the earth's total life to date.

Yeah, you're right, no doubt in my mind now.
