I encourage everyone here to watch the latest climate change documentary on the discovery channel. The greenland and antarctic ice is melting rapidly. I recent research team actually filmed large ponds of melted ice water dissapear overnight. The water fell through the ice into the atlantic which accelrates the ice melt underneath. What the core samples found is that CO2 is higher now than any other time in the past million years. Each warm period in the past had high concentrations of CO2 followed by temperature rises & sea level rises. So what is different now????? in the past there has been one of three things that took place #1) most likely IMO astroid impacts or large volcanic eruptions blocked the sun & took the globe into ice ages.#2)The earths orbit changed #3)The sun spot activity changed dramatically. NONE OF THESE ARE HAPPENING NOW the only reasonable comculsion is rising CO2 enhancing the greenhouse effect. Satelite measurements continue to show the earth warming & if this continues we could see minimum 3ft sea level rise to 10ft within 100 years. This argument is so tiring because certain people with certain political persuation refuse to acknowledge the facts. Sure you can cherry pick a weather obervation next to a factory or a lie in an email but the overwhelming evidence shows CO2 rising the earth warming rapidly & the sea level rising .
