Yeah well... apologies are going around.

There is tremendous pressure in many scientific fields.

As for the whole issue of GW... I will always go with my experts and wait, watch and pay attention rather than following the press and marketing of a movement led by a man who could not win his own state in order to become President.

This is NOT to say it there are many issues that go along with Global Warming.

Let me ask a question?

What if we were going through a mini ice age that would last 400 years.. which in the world of climate analysis is a relatively SHORT TIME..

How would we adjust our lifestyles?

IF we ARE going through a mini WARM spell of relatively 400 years or so... how would we adjust.

Climate is an average.

ITs like checking a book to see the Average Daily Temperature in Iowa somewhere and then going in the middle of February and OH MY GOSH it's freezing.

Scientists have always played with results and parameters to achieve a result they either believe in or are trying to promote.

It's like a real estate appraiser who is told to "bring in a house at $440,000" when the market really does not justify it and he may lose his biggest client because they are upset he is too conservative with his appraisal and only bring in the house at $360,000. Does he play with the comparables and use one that is questionable to keep his biggest client happy (mtg company) or stand up and say ... "no way that house in Hialah is $440,000 and by the way it's not a 4 bedroom house it's been cut up into 4 single rentals or does he go along and bring it in as close to $440K as he can?

Scientists are people like everyone else... athletes are people like everyone else...

We all make mistakes and we all do things we shouldn't do ...

I imagine it could be worse ...

As for Global Warming... time will tell...

We need to learn to adjust and we need to learn to be better stewards of Planet Earth... regardless of warming or cooling.

And, know that ONE big volcano like Krakatoa could immediately impact Earth's weather...
