One thing about this study is that it at least gives very specific predictions. Like the one that says major hurricane strikes along the American coast will double by the end of the century, and the ratio of damage to be expected by major hurricanes (they mention wind, and also very significantly increased rainfall, as the primary culprits) as opposed to non-majors. So right or wrong, at least the study was specific and did not engage in generalities.
