Tornado touches down in Citrus County

CITRUS COUNTY, FL -- The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down about 7 miles southeast of Homosassa Springs.
The tornado briefly touched down and moved at about 40 miles per hour towards Floral City.
Damage, if any, is unknown at this time.
