Hello to you Gulf Coast residents;I and my better half are Katrina survivors who now live in Western NC.Following Katrina we recieved help from people whom even offered to share their homes with us.We stayed a few days with a wonderfull family in Oxford Miss before moving on to restart our lives.Fortunately we were able to make a fresh start here in NC and even though we miss the coast,we know we did what was best for us in the long run.Now that we have settled down and gotten on our feet, we feel compelled to help those in need as we were helped.I am going to leave my phone number at the end of this blog so that if any body down there should need a place to stay for a while they can give us a call and we will see what we can do to help out.There may be some people whom we can not assist,so every thing will be on a case by case basis.Keep in mind that we are now planning on doing some volunteer work down that way so special arrangements might have to be made.You may find yourself feeding a cat if you are here while we are away ! Anyway here is our number so feel free to call if you need a hand.
